It's not a bad game. I mean when you compare it to something like Sonic the Hedgehog, when Sonic is stripped down to the bare minimum, is a run and jump game. Yes, it is more visually interesting (Sonic, I mean) because there are rings and enemies and what have you, but it isn't all that different. HOWEVER, unlike Sonic, this game has manny glitches. One that I encountered a lot was where I wasn't holding an arrow key (left and right) and yet my person would still run in one of the directions, thus usually killing me. Also, the platforms somehow either are "move-through-able" or somehow you get stuck on some non-exsistant thing jutting up or out from nowhere and get zapped. I would say that if the glitches were worked on, it would be a more endearing game. Try again and I'll probably play it.
On the whole, however, I get too frustrated with the glitches to keep playing.
But I think the rate of fire needs to be increased some. I was doing my best to keep up and moving faster than my ship could fire, so I couldn't kill things fast enough. It was a little frustrating, but fun.
is the sound quality. But I was so glad when I first found this submission several years ago. I couldn't find these songs anywhere.
But that was before I discovered w w w .simpsoncrazy.com/information/lists/s onglyrics.shtml I would always come to this.
Take out those spaces in the www and it'll take you there. I think you might even be able to download them. And the sound quality is beautiful.
Anyway, thanks for posting this and keeping me in my simpsons song fix!
have it on my phone and that is fun because it gives me something to do at work. got to special roof tops for all towers except yellow. or maybe i did. i can't remember. i even got a 21 combo at one point. only problem i see is that the music is..... . . . well it should have multiple music option rather than just on and off. otherwise thanks for an awesome game.
but not perfect. a few things lacking were the backround music. one guy had a great idea of giving three options for music. another thing i had an issue with was the speed in which the baddies threw the blocks down. remeber how in tetris you could make the blocks fall faster? think about that... and finally i love a good challenge but my roommate is a baby when it comes to a difficult task. she got so frustrated with the pirate level she almost threw my laptop at the wall. maybe create a difficulty setting for those people who can't quite get the hang of the game?
except that when i restarted without closing the window there was a major glitch that wouldn't allow me to play because half the arrows didn't appear and then didn't read the directions i typed properly. other than that it was great.
Not that hard. Just got to know how to manage better. I lasted through to 2064. Would have lasted longer if I hadn't gotten bored. Maybe add some other options once you get to a certian point, year or monetary value?
i was expecting a really crappy stick firgure skating animation. it was instead really well done. can't say i cared for the music as it didn't seem to fit, though it was a plesant song. props mate. looked good.
